Here are the Email Set-up Instructions for Outlook: ( yourname@yourwebsite.co.nz as an example ) You can also have aliases for: info@, admin@, enquiries@. This just means that your clients can send an email to anyone of the Aliases and you will receive them as they are linked to yourname@ and do not need setting up separately. This can be updated at any time if you want people at different computers to download the email to each of those addresses.

How to set up "Outlook" to retreieve email from our mailserver.

1/ Open Outlook
2/ Click on "Tools"
3/ Click on "Options"
4/ Click on "Mail Setup"
5/ Click on "Email Accounts"
6/ Click on "Add a New Email Account"
7/ Click on "Pop3"
8/ Click on "Next"
9/ Put in your name.
10/ Put in the new email address ( You must do this for each one unless you are using a "catch-all" )
11/ Put in the "Incoming mail server" ( Pop3 ) as: mail.yourwebsite.co.nz
12/ Put in the "Outgoing mail server" ( smtp ) as: mail.yourwebsite.co.nz( Yes, they are both the same. )
13/ User name will be: please request this from The Sales Creator Team
14/ Password will be: please request this from The Sales Creator Team
15/ Tick "Remember Password"
16/ Don't Tick " Log on using secure password"
17/ Click on "More Settings"
18/ Click on "Outgoing server" and make sure that "My outgoing server ( smtp) requires authentication" is ticked. Also click "Use same settings as incoming mail server". ( Nothing else should be ticked. )
19/ Click "OK"
20/ Click "Test Settings" and if everything is OK...
21/ Click "Next"
22/ Click "Finish"

Additional things to check: Make sure outgoing mail has same security settings as incoming mail. If you still have a problem you may need to ring your ISP and tell them to turn off Port 25 blocking.

That should be everything set up and your new email addresses should work perfectly now. If you STILL experience any problems, please double check that you have followed all these steps correctly BEFORE notifying us. If everything in these steps has been done correctly and you still have a problem downloading your email from our server then your ISP may be blocking email servers other than their own. This won't be a problem but please contact us so we can help you complete your set-up.

Finally, if you are away from your main computer you can also access your email online using "webmail" by typing the following into your browser's address bar:

http://mail.yourwebsite.co.nz

You will be prompted to enter your username and password. These are the same as those above.
