 | | | Ten Minute Marketing Tips | Hey Readers, Blogging TIPS - Week 2: How to really "connect" with your clients in your blog ... A frequent comment from my clients is, “I don't know what to say and I don't know how to say it” or, more to the point, “I don't like blowing my own trumpet”. The bottom line is: it is not about blowing trumpets. We discovered that it is about making it all about the customer - which resulted in real success for us blogging for our own clients. Big surprise, eh? The easiest way to construct a very simple and effective blog is to take a question from one of your customers and respond to it. Be generous and helpful. Here are some more examples of some of things that you can blog about: • what's happening in your community • share a joke or funny story about something that has happened in your business • profiles on your key staff • tips or advice and solutions for problems • talk as a fan about a product - don't try to sell The whole objective of a blog is to keep it light and breezy and have some fun with it; just talk with your customers the same way you would in your business every day. It’s all about building relationships and trust. Until next week: when I will share some examples of effective blogs. Kind Regards, Daniel Moore The Sales Creator Community. PS. Our new Salescreator Facebook Fanpage grew from 43 "Likes" to 77 in a single day using our new system. After 2 days it was 137 Likes - almost doubling the previous day! Now it is over 200 and climbing. The next step will be to convert those "Likes" into customers. Join us for the journey.
