As a nation who could have asked for a better outcome than to have the All Blacks playing in the World Cup Final, and against the French (well - say no more) but go the AB's !

We'd love to see you all down at the club to cheer them on and enjoy the atmosphere.

New Carpet is being laid next Mon / Tues and if need be into Wed. We are trying to streamline signing in to the Club during the Rugby series. We have produced sign in slips to allow members to sign in a group of up to 7 guests. Many of you will have noticed the improvement in the picture quality of the Big Screen in the Riverplate Lounge. This is a new projector as the repair to the old one was prohibitive relative to the cost of a new one.

We have two additional projectors and screens installed for the duration of the World Cup Rugby. These have been hired and will allow all games to be viewed in the Club on Big Screens at all times. One has been
installed in the Monte Cassino Lounge and the other in the Battle of Britain Lounge—sports area.

The Ex-Vietnam Services Association and Papakura RSA jointly maintain a fleet of Mobility
Scooters which are available for hire to members of the Papakura RSA and members of their
families.

There is a nominal charge of $25/month for the loan, to cover maintenance and depreciation
costs.

  Please note that for the Tri Nation Series Rugby and the World Cup Matches the Entertainment will be planned around the games, before / half time / after. Therefore you will be able to watch and listen to the games. We do have a number of functions on in the Monte Cassino in the next few weeks that we will need to work around, but no bookings have been taken while the main games are on in the World Cup. It is planned to have a big screen in each of the main areas of the Club for the World Cup matches. A
program will be available shortly.
