YOUTH TOUR

Tour 2012-Auckland RSA’s & NSW RSL’s, Reciprocal Youth Tour in Sydney.

Do you have a Teenager, attending school in Papakura, ages 15-17 at the time of the tour est. 18 April 2012. Would you like to nominate and sponsor them to have a trip of a lifetime for 2 weeks. Visiting many tourist spots, and being billeted in Sydney in about 5 different suburbs, with Families/Youth delegates, who are at this very minute, planning our Tour. There is an induction afternoon late Sept, then 3 weekend camps where the travelers , will learn marching ( as they will be marching in the Sydney ANZAC parade) performing in a concert to the RSL Youth Groups, which will include Kapa Haka, singing the NZ and Aust National Anthems and more... There will be 4 adults travelling as the Management team. This tour has been happening for 42 odd years now.. And a lifetime experience.

Reciprocal Tour Auckland District RSA’s and NSW Youth Tour 2011

The South Auckland RSA’s will be hosting the NSW Youth commencing 16th April 2011, until the morning of the 19th April,. (3 nights accommodation) for 30 Youth and 4 Management Team members. So once again, I am asking for RSA members to consider opening their homes and supporting this 40 year old tradition by offering to billet 1-2-3 Youth. (Already there are offers to billet the Management Team & thank you to those folk.)

Reciprocal Tour Auckland District RSA’s and NSW Youth Tour Reunion

Past Reciprocal Tour Youth, Management Team, Billeters, past Youth Council Delegates, both Australia (NSW) and Auckland - Proposed Reunion… The Youth Council Committee, is in the very early stages of planning a Reunion. Proposed venue at the moment is the Papakura RSA. Date to be finalized. But wanting to inform you to start thinking about getting in touch with those you travelled with, or billeted.

Reciprocal Tour Papakura RSA Past Youth Delegates

Have you ever wondered how you can support the RSA that sponsored you to attend a Reciprocal tour in NSW.
Have you joined the RSA? You are MORE than welcome. Record on your application form that you were a Papakura RSA Youth Delegate. There is a Kidz Disco and the end of each month This event has a theme, each time, eg pyjamaparty, Halloween etc. The present organizers would love to have your help, 2 hours from 4pm until 6pm on the last Sunday of each month.

This is a notice to make members of the Papakura RSA aware, that in May 2011, I will be seeking nominations for Youth ages 14-17 for the 2012 tour. The Youth must be living in Papakura, and attending school at the time of the Tour in 2012. Nominations also for the Management Team will be called for at the time.
