Our two purpose-built early childhood education and childcare centres are located at Raumati and Levin. They are primarily for children aged from 6 weeks to 5 years. After school care and holiday programmes are available at our Raumati centre only.

At Chelsea House we have created an environment that is nurturing and creative. It is a place for wonder and delight, a place for stimulation and exchange of ideas. Indoor and outdoor areas are integrated and the physical space is arranged so that children can make choices independently. They can play with others, be involved in messy or noisy activities or simply settle into a quiet space for themselves.

Chelsea House follows the New Zealand early childhood education curriculum, Te Whaariki. All children experience stimulating, exciting and age-appropriate activities to suit their needs. Both centres are open 52 weeks of the year but are closed on statutory holidays. Normal hours are Monday – Friday from 7.00am to 6.00pm.

Healthy children’s meals are part of our service, freeing up your time to focus on other commitments. Each centre has their own cook, who serves up delicious fare just like mum!
